Special services at a cremation facility for pets entails getting the memorial items off or from the animals. To some, this may be gross, gory, or smelly. While this may be the case, it does not effect me the way it may others. Someone had to be there for the clients during this emotional time. Me being able to supply that emotional need for the person made all of that worth it to me.

In the industry of cremation one must be capable of working efficiently under tight time constraints and without error. In order to get this done I worked with rigorous guidelines and QC steps. The emotions and environment during cremation can be taxing, yet me and my team fulfilled our duties nightly. The conditions I worked in were extreme heat and due to the morgue extreme cold as well. I also endured constant heavy lifting.

• deciding what items were too little worth to be sold
• deciding what to be thrown out/ donated elsewhere

• unloading shipments when arrived

• drive company van to all clinics safely and timely
• interact with drs, clients, and petco employees professionally
