Established my own firm in 1982 and essentially took in everything that walked in the door for several years. It began with law firms and grew to include many larger cases with insurance companies. Eventually it led to long term contracts with TransAmerica and St. Paul insurance companies. There were also a few cases of finding "old lovers" and abducted children etc.
All of these experiences taught me that being a good investigator was not what we see on tv, it's an information game with sometimes small pieces being capable of winning a case.
