John Leonard

I am the second oldest of seven children and was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. I entered the Navy at age 18 and served four years active duty during the Vietnam war. Upon release from active duty I entered college and completed my degree requirement in three years. I worked for a couple of small newspapers as advertising sales, editor, publication production and even distribution. I was eventually hired as a sales representative for the state of Florida in their Division of Tourism office, where I remained for seven years. I was promoted to manager of that office prior to leaving to accept a better position in the private sector. I met and married my wife while working in central Florida and we moved to Atlanta when she was offered an opportunity by her company, State Farm Insurance. The rest is history.
