Summary

Stared out as a busser at Smokey Bones Fire & Grill, and knew that I wanted to grow, and develop into more roles there. I knew at the time that I wanted to be a cook. I was noticed by one of the managers at the time as a hard worker, and quickly became a trainer. I moved into the Kitchen as a dishwasher, and was also a trainer for this position as well. I cross trained over to Prep/Smoker, and began to Prep all of the food items. During this time I opened a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale Florida as the Dishwasher/Prep trainer. Got to cater the Florida Hurricanes Football team while I was down there for Smokey Bones!! It opened more doors for me in Management. At this time the DO noticed my great work ethic skills, and promoted me to Hourly Manger in within the Columbus store. As a hourly Manager I learned proper staffing levels, and managing prep/inventory levels on a daily basis. Over the course of 5 years I opened another store for Smokey Bones in South Carolina, and also went to other store locations to help out as a Manager. During 2017 was went I got a call from the new DO at the time Philip Furr to transfer to another store location as the service manager. I couldn't move because I had a son, and shared custody of him. So I was reluctant to move. I did however commute to this location in Peach Tree city, and I became the service manager there. It was short lived, because in the end the commute took a toll of my relationship with my son at the time. So I came back to this stores location after about a 6 months time. Went back to being the kitchens hourly manger. After about another 2 years time A position opened up for Management at this stores location. I got Promoted back in July of 2019, and have been the Bar Manager ever since. During this time I have developed skills in leadership, inventory, Ordering, Managing staffing levels, communications and development of staff, Managing overtime, and scheduling. I'm server certified, and have knowledge of proper handling of food, and storage.

So in short I have spent many years with this company, and have every desire to grow in a company. I'm looking for something knew and look forward to grow in a new company!!
