• Supervises the operations of the Courts Unit, including court security and bailiffs; assigns deputies to court rooms and security stations to ensure adequate coverage of court needs.
• Reviews reports completed by deputies.
• Prepares statistical reports and billable hours on bailiff and security hours to finance for submission to the state.
• Assists with the transportation and extradition of wanted persons and inmates.
• Supervises, trains, and mentors deputies assigned to the courts; initiates and imposes disciplinary action as necessary or as directed.
• Responds to questions, concerns, complaints, and requests for assistance from the public and court staff.
• Provides input into the preparation of the division budget, policies, and procedures.

Responsible for serving legal documents and executing court orders, such as summonses, subpoenas, protection orders, and evictions, and conducting property sales in civil cases. Conducted patrol duties as required in contract cities, in addition to working on the US Marshals Joint Criminal Apprehension Team (JCAT).
