John Orth

I've had experience leading worship at 2 smaller churches before becoming an intern at Good Shepherd Community Church, and I try to be a dynamic worship leader and lead creative and engaging worship services. Through that Internship, I've learned some planning and communication skills. I've been told that I'm good at communicating effectively and at leading the team. I've also been told I'm skilled in construction tasks from my time at Billings & Sons, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn. I still have room for growth, but am eager to learn and willing to put in the work.

I have a passion for leading worship, and it’s my dream to be a full-time worship leader.

I also love playing instruments and taught myself to play the guitar starting when I was 10 years old. I would love to learn more instruments for fun and to make me a better worship leader.

I enjoy woodworking and any outdoor activities, especially hiking, disc golf, pickleball, and volleyball.
