Sustainability Solutions for Economic Development

An Advocate of Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Development during my time as the National Coordinator of the Nile Basin Discourse Forum in Rwanda, at the core of my daily professionalism was
promoting sustainable natural resources management and attainment of sustainable development solutions for all for all in different sectors of capacity development, policy influence, resilience to climate
change impacts, resource mobilization and network development.
Spearheaded initiatives for stakeholders, communities and partners in the Nile Basin Discourse, Lake Victoria Basin Commission, and Global Water Partnership Eastern Africa and observed the access to
funding from the Climate Investment Funds of the World Bank. I have mobilized together with different expert teams hundreds of thousands of US dollars, Euros, Pound Sterlings and Rwandan Francs for
various institutions in Rwanda and Africa.

• Member of Regional Steering Committee to Global Water Partnership Eastern Africa, Vice Chairperson to the Rwanda Water Partnership, 2010-2019.
• Member of World Bank’s Stakeholder Advisory Network Committee member on Financing Mechanism of the Climate Investment Funds, 2012-2019.
• Seat Observer for African Civil Society Organizations to the Clean Technology Transfer of Climate Investment Funds 2009-2012.
• Member of National Technical Advisory Committee to Lake Victoria Environment Management Project 11, 2011-2015.
• Board member to Small Grants Program of Global Environment Facility under United Nations Development Program in Rwanda, 2009-2017.
• Member of the Environment and Agriculture Sector Working Groups in the ministries of Environment and Agriculture for Rwanda, 2013-2018.
• Member to the Strategic Programs Development teams of Population Health Environment of Lake Victoria Basin Commission under the East African Community, 2015-2019.
• Member of the World Wide Views and organized National Citizens Consultation of the Roadmap to Paris 2015 Agreement.
• Founder member of the African Youth Initiative on Climate Change which participates in Charter Of Youth/COP to United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change meetings annually.
