I have the adequate amount of experience that is minimally required; 10 years as a Texas Peace Officer along with 3127 TCOLE hours, with an Advanced Peace Officer License. Currently, I work for the Aransas Pass Police Department Criminal Investigations Division as a Narcotics Detective.
Having worked operations such as Stone Garden, Lonestar, and the STEP grants with the law enforcement agencies I have worked for, I have seen the value in traffic enforcement. Now, I would like to share that experience along with proven data with other agencies to educate them about the success of these operations.
I have the drive to succeed and the dedication to ensure a quality product is produced in every traffic stop or investigation I encounter. I have the proven ability to work in unison with fellow police officers and other agencies. I know I can work hand in hand with them to ensure we are all operating on the same level to make our roads, communities, and the State of Texas safe.

Skills
During my time as a Police Officer, I have shown that I am reliable when it comes to my attendance, and always willing to learn I have also shown that my proactive style of policing, police knowledge, and rapport with the community has been a great benefit to my success here with the Aransas Pass Police Department and my previous law enforcement agencies Within the past six years with the Aransas Pass Police Department, I have achieved many goals of mine, including Employee of the Year for the year 2019, becoming a Field Training Officer, A Patrol Detective with the Patrol Division, and recently since 2024, I transitioned to a new position created by our Former Police Chief Eric Blanchard, as a Narcotics Detective with the Criminal Investigations Division
I am always challenging myself to be the best overall police officer for this agency and I believe the product that I produce every working day has proven that I have investigated several different crimes that occurred within our city, which consisted of thefts, assaults, drug-related offenses, locating wanted subjects, along with a variety of other criminal offenses Also, I have investigated several crashes and I'm a firm believer in traffic enforcement/safety I pride myself in educating traffic safety to the citizens of Aransas Pass and others who visit our community I have attended several Traffic Conferences such as the Municipal Traffic Safety Conference with our municipal court staff and Judge
Having been able to learn from the guest speakers, victim advocates, and TxDot specialists from these conferences has made me want to provide that knowledge and apply it to my everyday work In my time as a Police Officer, I have befriended many Officers and individuals associated with Law Enforcement At this stage of my career, I believe with the experience I've gained, I would be an asset as a Law Enforcement Liaison
