- Under the supervision of the Technical Director, I independently handle and monitor most of the satellite dialysis units and RO water treatment plants in HMC .
- Setting up, monitoring, and operating HD machines and CRRT machines for various types of treatment modalities in satellite dialysis centers and critical areas such as MICU, SICU, TICU, and CICU.
- Checking daily hemodialysis solutions' conductivity, pH, and electrolyte composition, and recording and reporting any abnormal values.
- Calculate Kt/V for the delivered dose of dialysis treatment.
- Perform blood volume monitoring to assess the actual dry weight, and access recirculation study to assess the patency of vascular access for patients.
- Sets up and makes ready the water treatment plant on a daily basis by performing the regeneration, backwash, and testing the water samples for chlorine, chloramines, and hardness.
- Perform disinfection of the water treatment plant according to the manufacturer's guidelines and hospital policy.
- Collect RO water and dialysis solution for chemical, microbiologic and endotoxin test on a regular basis, review the result and document it.
