Supervised, lead and worked with employees in multiple departments to ensure fair and reliable power to be delivered to our customers. Held responsible for performing construction and maintenance duties of overhead and underground facilities for electrical distribution and transmission. Duties include: Construction/maintenance of transmission/distribution facilities in a cost effective manner. Ensuring facilities remain reliable and efficient. Assisting in emergency repair and power restoration after outages. Responding reliably and timely to calls during regular work hours and off regular work hours. Accounting for all construction materials properly. Presenting self in a professional and respectful manner towards customers and other employees. Maintain the ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Ability to communicate with various personal to ensure open and concise communication while on site. Stepped up as needed for Foreman position to provide training and development, display leadership, remain adaptable under any situation, and conflict resolution skills.

Worked to string, splice and transfer wire in both energized and de-energized circuits. Worked with construction crews to route and re-route power lines around new builds either via above-ground lines or below-ground utilities. Assisted Journeyman Lineman with work to learn trade and practice techniques. Worked on both dead and energized lines.

Removed old poles and hardware and replaced with new equipment.

Built and maintained distribution overhead powerlines for rural and urban areas. Assisted and worked beside journeyman lineman in the field. Installed new AMI metering. Serviced new and existing customers In the most professional way possible
