Jonah Lane

Currently working as a summer intern at Lakeside Metal Specialties in Paragould, Arkansas (May 2022 – Present), where I’ve taken on a variety of hands-on projects. These include working through BOMs, transferring company data into a new ERP system, ERP training, cycle counting, operating forklifts and scissor lifts, and helping rack out a new warehouse on the factory floor. I’ve also sat in on meetings with both suppliers and customers.

This role has given me valuable international exposure. I’ve traveled to Istanbul, Poznań, Beijing, and Ho Chi Minh City to meet with suppliers and visit their manufacturing warehouses. I’ve also toured several plants across the U.S. and attended the Florida State Roofing Trade Show, gaining industry knowledge and making new connections.
