Independently operates and maintains 8 Megawatt Power Plant in support of Critical Communications Missions. System including four 2 Megawatt, 4160 VAC Generators and associated Primary and Secondary Switchgear. Four Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems, three 300 ton Chilled Water Units and four 80hp Low Pressure Boilers. Maintains and operates two 250 PSI Air Compressors.

- Makes prompt decisions to maintain electrical power stability to ensure mission capability.

- Closely monitors meters, gauges, indicators and alarms to react to an ever-changing electrical demand.

- Oversees Control Room activity to include installation-wide Building Management, Supervisory Control, Data Acquisition and Power Monitoring.

- Directorate liaison for after-hours, installation-wide maintenance. Determines course of repair and assigns work to appropriate craftmen to perform duty.
