I am a young man who has excelled academically through sheer determination. I want to push the world forward in a positive direction. The reason I chose to learn about dog training and decided to do it myself was precisely that.
Dogs have been our companions since the dawn of time, yet I would argue that our bond with them has been declining. We no longer share a tightly knit, symbiotic relationship with dogs as we once did. As a result, many dogs end up in shelters, and their owners become distressed.
The "positive-only" agenda is harming both dogs and their owners, and this needs to stop. For a true symbiotic relationship to work, boundaries must be established—and the only way to achieve that is through a balanced approach that includes both positive and aversive methods.
