- My job is to go to different dock locations inside the Port of Corpus Christi to replace or repair any piles,structures,catwalks etc. that the client needs
- Fabricating any patches for pipe piles are placed in the meantime, unless the whole structure is being replaced
- We also fabricate pad eyes, connectors, supports and braces if needed
- Pipe fitting is also used for support pipes on mooring structures.(use of oxyfuel cutting)
- I also structure weld temporary or permanent repairs(SMAW and GMAW)
- If whole new mooring structures/and or sheet pile are being placed then pile driving is implemented. (use of vibratory or hammer to drive)
- We also coordinate with the crane operator to help assist in lifting
- We also demo pipeline, old and rusted structures that need replaced entirely
- I also assisted in dredging in and out of the Port of Corpus Christi
- I also operate small mobile equipment when needed

- Operated ariel lift to be able to access areas where scaffolding was not available
- Coordinated with QC when hydro testing was part of protocol
