Throughout all of my jobs I have learned many valuable skills. while working multiple years at Taylor University I leaned practical skills like basic grounds maintaining, painting, and organization. During my job at Upland Community Church I learned time management and organization skills.
For my job working at Taylor this summer I learned many new skills that will be helpful for later in life. I did numerous random maintenance jobs like painting, powerwashing, cleaning, moving furniture, and inventory.
While working at UCC on the set up crew I was able to use my time management skills and organizational skills. For that job I was given specific deadlines for when the set up needed to be complete so it really tested my time management skills by making me pick the best time to go into work to get the job done. I also learned organization skills. We were given diagrams for the specific set up that was required but sometimes they wouldn't work the way they needed to. When the set up needed to be tweaked, my orginazational skills were tested and I needed to arrange the set up in order to make it work.
For my job doing grounds I learned how to do things like picking weeds, weed wacking, mulching, and numerous other things.
