Started at Georgia Pacific as a Bundler Operator. My job mostly consisted of doing quality testing. Changing end tape rolls, doing sorts, and feedback. If I were not working on those tasks. I would help the coordenador monitor the equipment.

After a few months I became the takeoff coordinator. I still continued my most roles as a bundler op. Along with taking on more of a role in the training on new hires. It was my job to ensure that the area ran smooth. I had to oversee 3 drivers and a bundler operator. Making sure I coordinated all their breaks, while working on takeoff needs for any change overs.

After about 1.5 years as coordinator, I asked to learn a new area where I became the dryer op. Main tasks were to monitor dryer speeds and board moisture. While doing quality testing on that hour or when required.

I accepted the Role as a PCT in March 2025. My biggest want to bring to the table was more hands-on training and extra support for the areas. I wanted to be seen more hands on by my coworkers. Some of my tasks of the job are

• Run pre-shift meetings, helping the operators get the information they need. Along with a look at what they will be doing for the night.
• Break coverage, I can currently cover Takeoff coordinator, Bundler op, forklift driver and P29
• Troubleshooting issues with the product or equipment being used.
• Providing support to the operators, making them feel comfortable enough to make decisions. While supporting them on their choice.
• Keeping an eye on QDS making sure the board is in spec. Calling out anything that does not look correct.
• Working on MES numbers and shift notes.
• Helping train new operators.
• Helping my supervisor with plans for the team. What moves would benefit the team and each operator best.
• Overseeing AMK's procedures.
• Ensuring that all operators are working safe and following the plants PBM's

Forklift operator for Titian Implement mostly consisted of

• Organization of the warehouse space
• Unloading trucks from our sister plant
• Weekly counts of inventory
• Helping the assembly lines during gaps in my duties
• Basic house keeping

At New England Surface Prep, I was the lead for the concrete polishing division. I ran all the jobs start to finish with a crew anywhere from 2-10 people. It was my job to oversee the job slips, and make a plan to complete the job. After reviewing the slips, I would determine the crew size, materials, and equipment needed. It was also my job to keep a daily record of man hours worked, materials, and tooling used. I was also I large part of looking at potential new jobs. Giving my boss feedback and thoughts on the job. To help him with the bidding process. Some other tasks I would often do were

• Load trucks
• Order materials
• Review job scopes
• Complete final job slips for billing
• Operated hand tools
• Operated concrete grinders
• Operated shot blasters
• Managed a few jobs at once with multiple crews
• Poured epoxy floors
