Summary
After graduating from Heartland Baptist Bible College in 2012 I came to work at Sauk Trail Baptist Temple in Richton Park IL under Pastor Emeritus Bruce M. Humbert. Pastor Humbert has been my "father in the ministry", a dear mentor and friend ever since. Over the next 7 years his wisdom and experience in ministry helped shape me into the Associate Pastor and "Second Man" I am today. I was ordained into the gospel ministry in 2017 under his leadership and guidance. Pastor Humbert's wisdom also saw fit to transition out of ministry where Pastor Sam Waterloo (a fellow friend, graduate and staff member at Sauk Trail) would take the pastorate in 2019. I have stayed on staff helping in a variety of ways to help him in the ministry and overseeing of the flock. We have loved serving the Lord here since 2012.

- I have had the opportunity to lead the choir, orchestra and congregational singing for the past few years.
- I have been a part of taking our discipleship program to be not just a class lecture but 1 on 1 relationship building as well as being rooted ino doctrine together.
- I get to lead the Young Couples Bible Study Class (Sunday School) where we have seen many saved and I have taught through books of the bible as well as focused on specific topics surrounding the marriage and family.
- I get to lead the inside building maintenance team of the church as well as taking care of the mowing and edging.
- I get to lead the outreach program and lead people into the next steps of church membership and baptism.
- I have had the opportunity to be the police chaplain here in Richton Park for 7 years. I have led a few police officers to the Lord and offered counseling to them and their families, visited them in the hospital, spoken at events and also funerals.
- I have provided pastoral counseling to individuals, couples and families that are in the church.
- Provided spiritual care through visitation, counseling, prayer and preaching.
- Preached and coordinated special events such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals, providing pastoral care during significant moments in congregants lives.
- Preached the Wednesday evening services for over a decade. I've also preached many Sunday morning and evening service.

Personal
I am happily married to Lindsay Welch and we have 6 children: Aubrey (11), Jase (10), Gage (7), Colton (5), Dane (3), Kade (8 months). We enjoy family night and the outdoors including hunting, fishing and camping.
