Experienced Direct Care staff member skilled in emotional support, daily living assistance, and health monitoring. Proven ability to implement process improvements and facilitate engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for residents.
To fulfill my educational requirements, I completed one year of practicum experience. I completed this training and supervision at Roy Maas Youth Alternative, a non-profit facility that houses children who have been removed from this home through Child Protective Services. Through this experience, I was able to learn skills required of a clinical psychologist as I was able to conduct therapy sessions with the children. Successfully completed 700 supervised clinical hours working with this child population, ages 6 to 17.
