Joni Watson

I spent the majority of my adult life raising my six children. I made the decision a couple years ago to apply for a nursing program. I was taught by three amazing women the fundamentals needed to exceed in the nursing profession. During my time at Academy of Careers and Technology I gained knowledge in patient care, medication administration, taking vital signs, patient assessments, documentation, and wound care.

While at Academy of Careers and Technology, I acquired my CPR certification, became a member of HOSA, and place first in the State's HOSA CPR/First Aid competition.
