Washington and Lee Sophomore student-athlete who has a deep interest in law, politics, and professional writing, who is also an encouraging manager and analytical problem-solver with talents for leading and motivating as well as excellent customer relations aptitude and relationship-building skills.
Responsible for the Work Study program at the tennis center, such as coordinating and organizing the scheduling of other students and their positions. Works in pro-shop sales and gives clients lessons.
Was a founding member of the Forum, designed to promote civil discourse and debate on campus. Manages donations, funds, and budgeting for speakers and events. Coordinates with the Student Government for fundraisers and requesting Executive Committee funding.
Helped clients of all ages improve techniques during private lessons and group lessons. Mentored young juniors and guided them through the junior tennis circuit. Organized and ran weekly tournaments with players. Looked to encourage dedication to the sport, good work ethic, and a positive attitude on the court.
Managed other Work Study students and provided customer service at the front desk, as well as a coaching service to school students and alumni.
