I am an energetic and motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills. I have a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Being a student athlete in college for five years taught me invaluable lessons on how to carry my weight, and how to help build a culture that my teammates and I can be proud of.
As part of my role, I took on the responsibility of collecting information and managing risk recommendations for renewals, while also ensuring the timely delivery of renewals and/or binders as required. I managed all policy activities of assigned accounts, which included handling endorsements, and invoicing. I presented renewal risks to the insurance marketplace for quotations, maintaining timeliness and completeness in interactions to minimize the chances of errors and omissions. Having developed an in-depth understanding of assigned accounts, I focused on implementing an effective placement strategy. Moreover, I cultivated strong relationships with our insurance company partners, making it my responsibility to stay updated on the carrier requirements and attributes while delivering the client peace of mind.
As the Head Coach of the South Tampa Sticks Lacrosse Club, 14U Tampa Tarpons, I led a team of around 30 boys aged 12-13, with support from two additional coaches. Our training schedule included 2-3 weekly practices and weekend tournaments, requiring us to travel across Florida. My responsibilities extended beyond team management to include the arrangement of weekend stays for families, and organizing training days to enhance fundamental skills for players across all age groups.
As an intern at Polk County Sheriff's Office, I gained comprehensive experience in diverse facets of law enforcement operations. I engaged in ride-alongs, interactive sessions with personnel, community safety operations, and collaborated with the Crime Scene Investigation unit. I contributed to the Agricultural Unit's security responsibilities, facilitated inter-departmental communication as a Courier and participated in Deputy Training. Further, I was involved in the Book-In process, supported the Communications Center, worked with Animal Control, and assisted the Identification Unit. Additionally, I was part of the Sheriff's Traffic Education Program, managed logistics at the Supply Warehouse, and participated in an active shooter simulation. This array of experiences honed my skills in different aspects of policing, crisis response, and community service.
I played a key role in the execution and performance tracking of on-site sponsorship signage, deployed in hospitality zones, and on LED sideline displays. Additionally, I successfully assisted with the activation of over 20 game-day events for high-profile sponsors across football, basketball, and lacrosse. My responsibilities included coordinating the distribution of over 300 sponsored promotional materials in the pregame fan fest area to enhance engagement. I was also responsible for assisting with the organization of three hospitality events for corporate clients on-site, and managing the distribution of tickets and gifts to VIP clients, ensuring a top-tier experience for all.
