Jordan McNamara

I am currently employed as a Community Service Officer for the city of White Bear Lake. I play a role in enhancing the productivity and efficiency of the White Bear Lake Police Department by handling calls for service that do not require the presence of sworn personnel. I also help provide a visible public safety presence by patrolling the city in a fully marked squad car.

• Respond to various non-emergency calls for service.
• Assist police officers with traffic control, jail transports, and any other supportive tasks.
• Assigned to many various administrative tasks and daily duties.
• Provide parking enforcement including enforcing statutory vehicle registration laws and parking regulation ordinance violations.
• Assist with a variety of organized community events.
• Drop off and pick up evidence related to criminal investigations.
• Write police reports and serve state citations when necessary.

Certified lifeguard at the YMCA with many hours of in-person training in first aid/cardiopulmonary resuscitation and life-saving techniques both in and out of water.

• Trained to respond to life-threatening situations quickly and adequately
• Supervise and overlook swimmers and carefully enforce facility policies and guidelines to ensure swimmer safety
• Utilize medical supplies and equipment to examine injured patrons and administer first aid/ cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Provide excellent customer service to many patrons by exemplifying a positive and professional attitude to meet their needs

I worked in both the shipping and receiving department at Fox Valley Metrology. I typically received packages from other calibration-related vendors that are in need of getting their products, tools, and equipment calibrated in our labs.

• Operate a technical computer system made specifically for Fox Valley Metrology
• Clean Hard Gage tools so they are in pristine condition for our calibration team
• Bin, log, and transport products from other companies or vendors into different laboratories that specialize in certain products
• Sort, box, and ship repaired, calibrated, or cleaned product back to other companies or vendors.
