I have been a shift leader and a team trainer at my two jobs in the past. I worked at both jobs for over 18 months and was expected to prep and open, manage cash and change, train new employees and close kitchen stations. I have over 3 years spent in restaurants where I am very experienced in customer service and fast paced environments. I am looking for a more serious job where I can work consistent hours with the opportunity that I can gain experience bartending.
Worked at Jeremiah’s for 19 months in roles that included opening the store, prepping the store for the day, and managing our inventory and cash. My responsibilities included completing morning prep, taking cash/change to the bank, and handling product shipments. Additionally I have worked off site events and prepared catering orders.
I worked at one of the busiest Culvers locations in the state, regularly working long hours 4–5 days a week and spending most of my shifts on my feet in a fast paced environment. I worked all front of house positions and was frequently given the float position where I helped out wherever needed. I also worked several back of house roles, gaining experience throughout the restaurant. I worked closing shifts often, which included cleaning kitchen stations, sanitizing equipment, and maintaining a clean lobby. In addition, I was occasionally appointed to train new employees, helping them learn store positions and standards.
