Dr. Alex Straiker's Neuroscience Laboratory 

• Contribute to neurobiological research investigating the role of endocannabinoid signaling (CB1 receptors) and its impact on CNS functions such as memory, motor control, and epilepsy.
• Assist in in vivo animal models (mice), ensuring ethical handling and adherence to strict laboratory protocols.
• Support data collection via electrophysiology and molecular biology techniques to map G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathways.
• Analyze complex biological datasets to help characterize the mechanisms of cannabinoids action at the cellular level in both health and disease models.
