Practice critical clinical decision making and deliver care to patients at the top level of the Paramedic's scope of practice in a team based care delivery model with the mission to provide initial and/or continuing care to stabilize patients in any environment and as required, provide or facilitate transport via ambulance.
The Advanced Care Paramedic is responsible for providing lifesaving and advanced interventions to patients at on-site locations and/or during transport. Serves as the principal paramedic for specialty care and ALS transports.
Scope of practice inclusive of vent management, use of high flow oxygen and advanced airway management.
