Inspect electrical meters and use of digital multimeters (DMMs), Volt-ohm meters (VOMs), for conformance to specifications to make sure of no fraudulent activity., Mark items for acceptance or rejection, record test results and inspection data, and compare findings with specifications to ensure safety standards are met., Compile data and write reports based on findings to appropriate party regarding inspection results, to recommend corrective procedures., Adjust process or assemble meters in need of repairs or in need of meeting regulation standards., Set up service for customers, installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment., Travel to customers' premises to install, maintain, or repair cable, internet, or cooper line phones., Measure signal strength at utility poles, using electronic test equipment., Inspect or test lines or cables, recording and analyzing test results, to assess transmission characteristics and locate faults or malfunctions., Splice cables, using hand tools, epoxy, or mechanical equipment., Responsible for inspecting all new installations and reconstructing HFC network., Perform all inspections and final audit inspections of OSP, cooper, fiber optic, and HFC external plant., Inspect all contractor’s vehicles., Responsible for ensuring technicians wore correct PPE gear., Operate automated measuring machines such as: SatFinder, JDSU, OTDR, and AmpMeter., Able to analyze and interpret blueprints., Demonstrate equipment to customers and explain how it is to be used., Respond to any inquiries or complaints from customers., Check to ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve customers' complaints., Handle escalated situations with customers in a calm manner.
