• Monitors and controls plant operations.
• Maintains adequate records of key production variables such as production volume, yield, plant uptime, utility consumption on a daily basis
• Responsible for ensuring proper flows, temperatures, pressures, and levels. Recognizes operating deviations and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Ensured all chemicals were added according to operating procedures and in the correct sequence.
• Operated pumps and valves to transfer chemicals such as Resin and Caustic from storage tanks into processing equipment.
• Assembled shipping containers with packing materials and products according to customer specifications.
• Ensured that all materials were properly secured and loaded onto railcars according to safety regulations.

As an Operator my job was to manage the movement of chemicals throughout the plant.

This also included:

• Managed weekly inventory and supply tracking, noting items requiring reorder.
• Performed scheduled inventory counts and supply audits.
• Conducted weekly storage inventory as well as daily ISO and railcar inventory/inspections
• Used Forklift to load and unload chemicals into and out of drums and totes.
• Inspected lifts before use to prevent damage to goods.
• Take samples of chemicals periodically for identification.
• Provided support for chemical loaders and other operators.

As a Fork Lift operator, my role was to maximize efficiency by moving loaded pallets to designated locations using the forklift.

• Maneuvered forklift over and around loaded pallets, boxes and other materials.
• Maintained current forklift training and certification as required by company policies.
• Transported material to correct locations and documented inventory changes.
• Inspected lifts before use to prevent damage to goods.
• Communicated with team members to coordinate efficient and accurate movements.

As a Fire Watcher it was my duty to prevent and detect fires. If a fire started it was my job to extinguish it and lead other personnel to safety.

This job also included:

• Warning other personnel of danger or to evacuate, using verbal or other prearranged methods of communication.
• Removing flammable materials from reach of ignition sources to minimize fire risk.
• Coordinating emergency response for fires unable to be controlled with on-site systems and equipment.
• Stood ready with fire suppression equipment such as fire extinguishers to watch for flare-ups.
• Inspected work areas to identify actual and potential fire hazards surrounding industrial work.

During my time as a security force officer I provided safety and security for Joint Base San Antonio Lackland.

This included:

• Foot Patrol inspecting fence lines
• Detected and reported unauthorized personnel and activities.
• Operated speed measuring, drug and alcohol and breath test devices to promote driving safety.
• Security check points to detect drugs and weapons
