Make sure all freight is accurate and by company standards during loading and unloading shipments. Work with our new Transportation Management System to provide an efficient way for our members to receive documentation of the shipment. Train or coach team members for any Standard operating procedure (SOPs) for handling, labeling, and shipping accuracy. With the help of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) for real-time product and order tracking for reporting purposes. Making sure all shipping and marking standards are met, for all purchase orders, ensuring shipments are arriving on time and properly routed. We need to follow the Department of Transportation (DOT) laws for every shipment, including weight restrictions, trailer sizes, paperwork, and hazardous materials.
