In my role as a Software Developer, I have been instrumental in driving my organization's automation initiatives. I specialize in assessing automation opportunities from a technical perspective and ensuring optimal solutions for process improvement. I provide crucial technical direction on architecture and design, emphasizing performance, security, and scalability. My responsibilities extend to designing and coding automations, conducting thorough QA testing, and offering continuous support for existing automation processes. My work includes creating and maintaining libraries to enhance customizability, creating and interacting with APIs to ensure efficient data flow, and working with SQL databases to record and retrieve data. Active participation in code reviews has been a key aspect of my role, contributing to coding standards and best practices. Additionally, I play a vital role in business continuity by writing comprehensive automation documentation. One of my notable contributions includes an automation that helped save our organization millions of dollars.

• SSNVS Automation: Designed and developed a program that automatically uploads employee social security numbers in bulk to the SSA for verification. If an employee record comes back as unverified, the automation sends an email to our client letting them know that this record could not be verified. Saved the business $700/record corrected when doing end of year tax forms. As of 2024 there have been over 12,000 corrections.
• COBRA Automation: Designed and developed an automation that used OCR to read files and extract personal information for proper storage to comply with privacy and retention laws. The automation processed over 10 million files, and saved the business millions of dollars.
