Accomplishments

Efficiently ran a Tribal Government with 670 Tribal Members, multiple enterprises as well as oversight of multiple properties and Tribal Housing. Responsible for reviewing and revising all governing documents to include Acts, Ordinances, Resolutions, Policies and Procedures for all aspects of the Tribal Government and Tribal operations. Responsible for actively serving on multiple internal boards and workgroups, external boards and workgroups within the County as well as on State and Federal levels. Have established well working relationships with CALOes, FEMA, County Sheriff's Office and State Legislators.


Provided direct oversight to Resource and Referral Department at local Non-Profit whose primary focus is on families and children. This included childcare services, assisting with establishment of new family childcare providers as well as childcare centers, oversight of nutritional programs offered at these sites i.e CACFP and provided Trauma Informed Training to numerous childcare providers within the County.

Additional Information

Within the last thirteen years of my work I have dedicated my efforts to the greater good of the community to include all individuals and more so those who are most vulnerable. I have engaged with youth and adults alike and have worked extremely hard to ensure that I share my life with them so that they have hope as I have underwent many of the traumas that our communities are facing. My educational achievements, hand in hand, with the implementation of what I have learned has allowed me to be a model for my people and my community.
