  • As a Special Response Team (SRT) Operator I am the team’s technician for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) program. I oversee the fleet vehicles for the El Paso Special Response Team. I ensure full mission readiness status of all vehicles, personal gear, and operator equipment. I coordinate and assist the team involved in high-risk warrant service, active shooter response, dignitary protection operations, and security details of seized property.
  • Implemented the use of SRT Operators in the pre-primary environment. This effectively decreased criminal activity and resulted in port hardening and security operations.
  • Implemented a Quick Reaction Force Unit, consisting of seven dedicated SRT Officers, to identify and combat illicit and illegal migrants. The QRF Unit has accounted for over one hundred adverse actions/arrests and numerous criminal convictions.
  • Directed enforcement operations resulting in a cocaine seizure and arrested driver, HSI, coordinated to pursue a control delivery resulting of more arrests.
  • Coordinated with the Non-Governmental Organization Taskforce to build a decompression plan for onward migrant movement from the border to interior cities applying a tiered approach.
  • Identified and deployed SRT Operators resources to ports of entry to ensure Mobile Field Force security posture.
