May 2024 - December 2024

●  In this position, I led group study sessions and provided clear, detailed explanations to help students grasp difficult pre-calculus concepts. In order to help students succeed, I collaborated closely with the teachers to align educational materials and offer individualized strategies. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities were necessary for my role since I fostered a welcoming and cooperative learning environment for various students.

PIH Whittier Hospital, 12401 Washington Blvd, Whittier Volunteer

August 2023 - PRESENT

●  I helped patients and staff in several ways while volunteering at PIH, which helped the hospital run more smoothly daily. I improved my record-keeping and communication skills by answering calls regularly, ensuring updates and essential messages were recorded correctly, and forwarding them to nurses for further follow-up. In addition, I delivered supplies, assisted staff with errands, kept common spaces tidy and welcoming, and offered comfort measures to patients. Direct interaction with patients and their families taught me how to professionally and empathetically adjust to various demands. I gained a solid foundation in time management, multitasking, and teamwork from this experience, which immediately applies to planning and facilitating group activities in the Pre-Med Club.

Reagan Reagan Hospital UCLA, 757 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095 Volunteer

October 2024 - PRESENT

● I gained advanced interpersonal and organizational skills at UCLA while working in a top-tier, fast-paced medical setting. To guarantee continuity of care throughout shifts, my duties included taking and directing phone calls, recording critical updates for nurses, and carefully capturing follow-up information. To effectively manage workflow, I supported administrative tasks, helped with patient movement, and worked closely with medical professionals. In addition to handling administrative duties, I helped create a positive hospital atmosphere by answering inquiries, making patients feel at ease, and supporting staff with non-medical requirements. This work improved my ability to manage several priorities under pressure, keep thorough records, and collaborate well with others. These abilities are directly relevant to planning events, monitoring duties, and assisting Pre-Med Club members.
