Prepared Preliminary Engineering Scoping Estimates for Highway Preservation Projects that required chip seals and hot mix asphalt surfacing. Reviewed prior roadway construction history on the State Pavement Management System. Prepared summarized input from other Departments including Planning, Environmental, and Maintenance for a Report I prepared that was included in the Scoping Report. Additionally used the State's photolog, Google Earth, and Google Maps for visual review of the project site. Additionally conducted site visits of same.

• Reviewed construction plans for road, drainage, geotechnical, and illumination submittals.
• Sent review comments back to the Engineer of Work for corrections prior to my recommending approval to the County Engineer.
• These construction plans were for private developments that were going to made public roads in the County maintained road system.

• Performed roadway design in the Design Section.
• Made drainage analyses and determined roadway structural section based on forecast roadway traffic.
• Used the AASHTO Geotechnical Method for this.
• Used RoadCalc software for alignment, profile, cross-section of the road.
• Forwarded this to Drafting Technicians for print out in AutoCad.
