• The primary roles and responsibilities entail compounding sterile admixtures and non-admixtures including but not limited to, parenteral nutrition, antibiotics, and hydration. All with emphasis on utilizing aseptic technique at all times.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
• Utilization of GDP (Good Documentation Practice) and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Work constantly with regard to “first air”, which is working while maintaining the integrity of a HEPA air filter and not obstruct airflow.

• The Aseptic Technician works as an assistant to an IV Compounding Technician. While working within the cleanroom setting, aseptic technique is utilized in sanitizing anything needed for an order.
• GDP ( Good Documentation Practice) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) are followed within this role.
• Environmental monitoring or sampling during the compounding process through the use of Rodac plates.
• Ability to stand and lift heavy items for a lengthy amount of time.

As a Guest Service Representative within the Food Service Department, roles and responsibilities include:

• Planning, preparing and distributing meals that fit within a patients specific diet.
• Visiting patients door to door to take patients orders with the use of online electronic food system.
• Cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and being organized.

• Roles and Responsibilities:
• The Patient Care Observer is responsible for remaining in constant attendance with an assigned patient to help maintain the patient’s safety under the direction of the unit’s Shift Charge Nurse
• Remain in constant attendance with assigned high risk patient until relieved by assigned member of the healthcare team
• Assist with fall prevention, turning and repositioning patient while maintaining patient privacy, and offering foods and fluids to patient.
