Hi, my name is Joey Elsmore & I am an expert Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach & competitor. My training began in my youth with Wrestling at the age of 9, Jiu Jitsu/Boxing/MMA at the age of 15, & at the age of 18 I began teaching, training & competing in Jiu Jitsu professionally. John Danaher has been my biggest inspiration & I have all of his instructional before 2022. In 2021 I received my Brown Belt under Steve Silvers (Checkmat Lineage). Also, in 2019 I was the Portland Open Purple Belt Lightweight Champion. As I have grown older, I have decided to seek out a new career & my career of choice is to be a Medical Assistant. I am passionate about helping others, health, & the human body. My ultimate goal in life is to own, or be part-owner of a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym. I see Medical Assisting as a great option for me because it aligns with my interests, my heart, & my skills. I greatly appreciate your consideration, & I hope I can work with your team in the future.
