I am seeking an opportunity to contribute my experience, leadership, and passion for special education to a district that values collaboration, high expectations, and student success.
I am a California Clear Education Specialist with more than 25 years of experience serving students with diverse academic, behavioral, communication, and transition needs. My background includes elementary, middle school, high school, resource, inclusion, extensive support needs, and adult transition programs. I hold a master's degree in special education, a Clear Education Specialist Credential, and a Clear Administrative Services Credential. Throughout my career, I have served as a classroom teacher, program leader, IEP facilitator, mentor, and CPI/Pro-ACT instructor. These experiences have allowed me to develop strong skills in instructional planning, behavior support, staff collaboration, compliance, family engagement, and student-centered problem solving. My educational philosophy is rooted in Respect and Dignity. I believe every student deserves a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment where they are challenged, valued, and empowered to reach their potential. I am committed to building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues while fostering independence, self-advocacy, and meaningful growth.
