Work History

Instrument Rating Training

Epic Flight Academy
Ocala, FL
12.2024 - Current
  • I am currently working towards my Instrument Rating with Epic Flight Academy's satellite campus in Ocala, Florida. I have passed my instrument written exam, and I am now working towards the check ride. With Epic Flight Academy, I am enrolled in their Part 141 program full-time over the summer, when I am not at the University of Florida, and then the Part 141 Flex program when classes are in session.
  • With Epic Flight Academy, I fly a Cessna 172S model. I plan on continuing all licenses and ratings with Epic Flight Academy, including Commercial Single Engine Land (CSEL), Commercial Multi Engine Land (CMEL), CFI, and CFII with them.

Private Pilot Training

Chief of Naval Air Forces Flight Academy
Elizabeth City, NC
06.2024 - 08.2025
  • I earned my Private Pilot's License (PPL) at Elizabeth City State University as part of a Navy-funded scholarship. I was one of 28 national selects to attend the 2024 flight academy, and I was at the top of my class while attending.
  • I soloed in only 4 days (~9 hours), and was the first to pass my PPL check ride after 5 weeks of attending flight school. This is a testament to my love and dedication to aviation, as I not only learn the most I can on every flight, but also put in the work back on the ground.
  • I trained in a Cessna 172S, allowing for early exposure and proficiency with the Garmin G1000 cockpit.

PPL Hour Building

University Air Center
Gainesville, FL
08.2024 - 04.2025
  • While attending the University of Florida, I rent a Cessna 172 from Gainesville Regional Airport, maintaining various currencies, and keeping proficiency with maneuvers and flying. I fly once a month and have now acquired approximately 70 hours.
