Assist administration with the daily safety and security of 1400 students and 400 staff.

I was assigned to the Patrol division 11/89 to 3/93

• Patrolled designated areas in patrol vehicle and on foot to identify security and safety issues.
• Provided public safety assistance at community events to maintain safe and secure environments.
• Investigated incidents and crimes, collected evidence, and recorded witness statements.

I was promoted to the Detective division in March 1993 where I was the only Detective on the Juvenile office. I investigated criminal complaints and made the appropriate arrests to Criminal or Family courts. I was in this office until retirement from BCSO in 2017.

From 2006 to 2017 I worked off duty as a SRO at Broome Tioga BOCES 4 to 12 hours per week.
