Summary

If an API's not documented it doesn't exist. I've made a career of doing just that. Most recently, I've documented web platform APIs and Chrome extensions for nearly ten years and documented APIs for nearly twice that. I'm looking for work in smaller companies where products are more important than processes.

  • Sole technical writer for this start-up, making me soley responsible for the content and appearance of all product documentation.
  • Products included API reference and installation guides .
  • Implemented single sourcing using DITA to deal with complicated content reuse scenarios.
