- The Waste System Operator is primarily responsible for inspections and maintenance. Water levels at dams, ditches and spillways vary per use and are mandated by State guidelines
- Controls tailing leg operation, swaps valves in the field and communicates with the float plant and tailing tractor to achieve smooth operation of the tailings system and to meet run time requirements for each leg
- Controls the water as needed for operating the plant and mine
- Each crew is assigned a housekeeping area and the wso is required to keep his housekeeping area cleaned and report any safety issue
- During this time i've been stepped up as a supervisor to fill in when needed and perform most duties as supervisor.
RHOH(Roving Hydraulic Operator Helper)

- The RHOH assists the Pit Operator in the efficient operation of the pit, to include checking the pipe line, opening and closing valves, trouble shooting problems on the line etc.
