- As a crime scene/fire investigator, I investigate and recreate crime scenes or fires. Identify forensic or physical evidence or causes of fires. Collect and preserve evidence. Submit pertinent paperwork with prepared reports in a timely fashion for lab submissions. Follow up on previous submissions. Conduct interviews with witnesses, victims, and offenders. Compile all necessary documentation, physical evidence, and statements for prosecution in court. Testify as to my role and findings. Provide deposition on behalf of the city, of my investigations to insurance companies.

- Nationally certified NPCA, USPCA, and NAPWDA dog and handler in scent detection and also patrol and aggression with tracking disciplines. Nationally recognized as the USPCA ranked 23rd best overall K9 team in 2017. One of two of the first K9 teams in Delaware County to be sworn into the Delaware County District Attorney's Office Narcotics Task Force.

- During my employment with the City of Chester Police Department, I have also been assigned to SWAT, K9, Underwater Search and Recovery, and even the records division. I served as field training officer for twelve years. I have worked in the patrol division, including the bicycle unit and as the center city foot beat officer. I still currently serve as the senior diver with the underwater search and recovery unit and the police departments senior firearms instructor. I am the departmental bagpiper for the Honor Guard. I have held positions within the union board from trustee, all the way up to union Vice President. I have also served as a part time officer with the Bethel Twp and Eddystone Borough Police Departments while working full time with the Chester PD. I also serve as the Division and Flotilla Staff Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
