*Construction Management: Leads internal and external multi-trade teams to include: Heavy Equipment Operations, Heavy Truck Drivers, General Maintenance Workers, General Maintenance Laborers and Desert Vegetation Management. Develops and updates project plans that include work breakdown structures, as-built drawings, project objectives, technologies, systems, specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Coordinates with the project managers too supervise, manage, and coordinate all work on projects including subcontractors and laborers. Reviews budget, schedules, and tasks in coordination with project managers to identify discrepancies impacting project completion. Validates on-time multi-schedule project milestones, equipment & material delivery, and efficient construction execution with quality assurance. Supports more than 10,000 personnel assigned to the USAF Warfare Center, 5 Wings, and 52 Tenant Units.
*Supervises and evaluates the performance of 26 employees who operate one or more types of gasoline or diesel powered equipment such as: backhoes, front end loaders, tractor trailers, farm tractors, deck mowers, mobile cranes, dozers, scrapers, steel wheel rollers, excavators, street sweepers, man lifts, scissor lifts, under-body scrapers, hydro-excavators, water trucks, road graders, refuse roll-off trucks and dump trucks a loading capacity of 5-20 tons.
*Prioritizes personnel and assets in order to meet customer demands for Preventative/Corrective Maintenance Request.—Executes 1000+ projects and work orders annually without delay.
* Construction Analyst-reviews past, present and future capital projects. Highlights potential project shortfalls and resolves deficiencies. Saved the USAF $75K’s on $3M airfield project-corrective action cost absorbed through warranty.
* Manages Base Flood Plan-maintains and repairs flood damages and surface drainage systems to 155+ facilities, in addition to 100+ miles of paved/unpaved roads and ditch lines.
* Manages Airfield Pavements Inspections and Repair Team—Inspects, plans, budgets, and oversees the repair of all concrete, asphalt and soil surfaces. Constant state of readiness supports over 50K sorties annually. 3rd best in the USAF
* Company Heavy Equipment Operator Assessor-Identifies training needs of operation. Saves contract $100k+ annually through training and in-house assessments
* Coordinates $1.2M Desert Intergrative Vegetation Management Program—Removes all noxious weeds from designated 4K acre landscape on CAFB and Nellis AFB through herbicide maintenance and foliage upkeep.
*Reviews 1000+ Task Hazard Analysis and Job Safety Standards annually-creates dialogue with crew, provides technical direction, and recognizes difficult steps before they arise.
