Extra-Curricular Activities

Involved in the University of Washington rocketry club known as the Society of Advanced Rocket Propulsion (SARP) from 2017-2020 as a member of the propulsion team. The objective of SARP each year was to design and manufacture a 10-19 foot hybrid rocket capable of reaching a ceiling altitude of 40,000 feet, and compete in the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC). Through the years spent on the team, I was involved in designing and manufacturing several components of the propulsion systems which included the rocket oxidizer tank and the oxidizer injection system. In addition, I acted as one of the primary contributors to the hybrid motor research and development team and provided potential solid rocket booster optimizations to the main rocket.
