1. Perform all mold tech functions

2. Work in a safe manner and monitor safety of equipment and work area.

3. Perform mold set ups, resin and colorant changes, equipment changes, and start ups.

4. Handle defect notices and make appropriate process changes.

5. Troubleshoot machines, aux equipment, and process problems.

6. Monitor and document production process and changes.

7. Daily preventative maintenance on machines, molds, and equipment.

8. Communicate issues/problems with supervisor, inspectors, process engineers and others.

9. Inputs information into process monitor system.

10. Fill out tech notes on designated computers.

11. Assist/perform sampling as needed.

12. Assist fellow employees as needed.

13. Participate and support CI activities and initiatives.

1. Check production schedule and prioritize set-up activity.

2. Gather mold, mold box, and auxiliary equipment for new set-up.

3. Remove old mold and auxiliary equipment and put away.

4. Set-up new mold and auxiliary equipment in a safe and timely maner.

5. Work and train with Process Technicians as time allows.

6. Fill in as material handler if needed.

7. Work with all other employees to help with production.

1. Maintain flow of plastic to all machines in the department.

2. Disassemble and clean hoppers, and blenders and maintain their operations, as production requires.

3. Move raw materials from pick-up station to molding room by using hand or lift truck and supply department with materials, skids, boxes, and bags.

4. Remove skids from the molding room along with refuse and return to staging area.

5. Calibrate the on press blender and ensure ratios are correctly done via a control box.

6. Responsible for housekeeping at color change, shift changeover, and overall room housekeeping.

7. Move empty boxes to molding room.

8. Move scrap skids and totes to warehouse.

9. Print out shop orders and labels as needed.

10. Order parts and lining materials for color changes, liner changes, and to keep continuous production running.

11. Return any unused components to the warehouse after orders are complete.

1. Create, label, and number boxes of finished product.

2. Read shop order for product requirements and verify box label matches product.

3. Clean machines during and after completing production.

4. Operate and maintain all types of manufacturing equipment.

5. Examine and discard defective goods and packaging components. Rummage through product to look for gross defects.

6. Monitor the machine operations to see that the finished product and components are adequately matching the quality and quantity constraints.

7. Support and adhere to all system procedures and company policies/procedures.
