I am a collegiate baseball with professional athletic and neuroscience technology research aspirations. I have spent the last three summers pursuing my goal to play professional baseball. Due to injury preventing me from playing in another collegiate summer league, I would love to spend this summer gaining experience in a biotechnology setting, as I have post-athletic aspirations of developing medical technology to cure neurological conditions.
I have completed extensive lab work in university biology and chemistry settings and believe I would be a quick learner and an excellent aid to the researchers. I have completed extensive lab work in university biology and chemistry settings, and have a very thorough understanding of data analysis and computer science, being able to code in languages such as R, Matlab, Python, and Stata. I have aspirations of developing technology
I have aspirations of developing therapeutic medical technology to cure neurological conditions. Through my work in baseball and volunteering, I am experienced with leadership and organizational tasks, and have a deep compassion for the less fortunate in our society, such as those affected by medical conditions. I believe a better world is one where technology and medicine can combine to improve the human condition.
Played in collegiate baseball leagues for three consecutive summers, league names listed below:
These baseball leagues averaged 50 games and spanned all three months of the summer. I have a passion for playing baseball at the highest level, and by playing in these leagues I gave myself the best opportunity to be drafted in the 2026 MLB Draft. By playing with other athletes from other states and countries, such as the United Kingdom and Japan, I honed skills practical in the workplace such as leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Additionally, the my teammates and I participated in multiple volunteer organizations and community events, such as the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association and the Winfield 150th Anniversary Parade.
Monterey Athletes that Care is a non-profit that serves the homeless community of Monterey County. As Organization Head, I recruited new volunteers, managed our volunteers and weekly donations, organized initiatives such as our COVID-19 Initiative and our Shower Pack Initiative, raised funds, and organized our annual Super Bowl Party for the homeless. I also mentored and advised the new Organizational Head of ATC.
As a student worker for the University of Chicago Athletics Department, I work with the heads of the department to organize and perform logistical tasks at our athletic events. Work includes managing the online game feed and scoreboard, keeping score and game statistics, displaying game information and graphics on the scoreboard, and working security. Additionally, I helped organize and perform tasks at the annual Midway Classic, an event in which local Chicago elementary and middle school students attend sporting events. My responsibilities for this event included recruiting and organizing volunteers, touring students around the University of Chicago campus, and working security for the games.
As a part of Amateur City Elite (ACE), I tutored elementary school students at Guaranteed Rate Field, helping them with schoolwork and studying for the SSAT.
