In order to keep up OBX Hammocks' productivity every morning I would unlock the shop, take all of the demonstration hammocks, chairs, and swings out in the front yard for customers to see what inventory consists of immediately upon arrival. Throughout the day I was in charge of scheduling other assosiates (hammock weavers), answer phone calls, and continue productivity upkeep as well as staying on top of my hammock production duties. These duties included: making rings ( each ends of the hammocks), braiding sinnits (hammocks edges), weave swings and chairs, and weave hammocks if another associate didn't show up or any reason inventory may have been behind on production. Finally, at the end of the day, I log employees hours (including my own), bring everything in from outside, tidy up, and lock the doors so I could look forward to doing it all over again the next day.
