I am an ambitious and driven individual who enjoys helping people and learning new skills. Helping people as best I can with whatever issue they may have while carrying myself in a professional manner to best represent myself and my place of employment. Improvement is what I strive for.
As an Emergency Department Technician, I am responsible for multiple duties. I organize patient transports, make calls for/organize consults for Doctors, Physician's Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners. Along with this, I am also responsible for the transfer of patients to other departments of the hospital once their disposition has been determined to be hospitalized. For patients still in the Emergency Department, I monitor EKG rhythms, and arrange necessary treatments for arriving patients such as EKGs and splinting extremities. I must also put in work orders for broken equipment or anything causing a safety hazard. Upon completion of the provided classes by the hospital, I am certified in interpreting EKG rhythms, inserting IVs and foleys.
As a firefighter my duties are to learn, operate, and maintain tools, apparatus and equipment while also ensuring that fire station duties get finished. I listen and learn attentively to the department's polices, procedures, guidelines as well as any advice from senior firefighters and supervisors in order to be successful in my fire service career. Other duties include those expected of firefighters: Respond to emergent or non-emergent calls as needed in our Fire Based EMS system, treat patients on EMS or emergency calls, perform fire suppression, follow orders from my fire captain, protect life and property while mitigating the situation, as well as anything needed of me on emergency scenes or back at the station. Achieving my Paramedic certification has allowed me to provide a higher level of medical care to the community as well as become a more versatile asset to the Fire Department.

From August 2013 to July 2017 I was a member of the Lake Havasu City Police Explorer Program. From 2015 until the end of my membership I held a Corporal rank within the post. This bestowed responsibilities upon me such as squad management, personal responsibility, proper communication in stressed and non-stressed environments, and the responsibility of being a proper role model and leader for those in the post. During my time in the Police Explorers, I put in 898 volunteer hours of community service by participating in various community events throughout the years.
