Work History

Cylinder Technician

Air Liquide Advanced Materials
03.2020 - Current

As a Cylinder Preparation Operator at Air Liquide, I was responsible for building cylinders for Research and Development, Production, and Customers. This involved working directly and remotely with Site planners, shipping, and the Inventory management team. I handled cylinders of various sizes, ranging from one pound to 50 liters of material, and ensured they were paired with the appropriate CGA output and valve. Attention to detail was crucial in my role, as any errors in the cylinder preparation process could have serious consequences for other operators down the line. I was adept at ensuring the correct PRD and valve torque, conducting proper leak checks, and ensuring thorough baking out of cylinders through the oven. In addition to my technical skills, I also utilized basic computer skills on a daily basis, including Microsoft Excel, SAP, Google Meet, Chat, and Gmail. As part of my responsibilities, I was also a member of the emergency response team, certified in bloodborne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and the use of a defibrillator through Air Liquide's partnership with Blue Cross & Blue Shield. Overall, my experience as a Cylinder Preparation Operator at Air Liquide has equipped me with strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
