Hardworking and willing to pass on the knowledge that has been acquired through the years of doing different aspects of the job field. Listening and helping others trouble shoot problems they have come across on their jobs. Teaching others and having the patients to help others that have trouble in certain areas in the field.
-I have done this for 3 years now and go on my own jobs to do quarterly, semi-annual and annual inspections on buildings of all different sizes.
-I have had 3 different apprentices with me at different times to teach them how to do inspections, taking them with me to jobs and explaining in detail how the job is done.
-When doing annual inspections there are jobs that require me to do pump tests, trip preaction and dry systems, testing backflows, doing complete walk throughs checking all sprinkler components, etc.
-Developed strong working relationships with property managers, building owners, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth inspection processes.
-Before being an inspector I had started in the shop ordering materials for our contract side and delivering material at a timely fashion, giving me the opportunity to learn all the compnents that go into a sprinkler system.
-After about a year and a half, working in the shop my supervisor decided to move me out to the field in contract, where I learned further how to install the systems in the proper order and where all the components that I learned in the shop, get installed.
-Once I had gotten a good grasp on working under a foreman in contract after about another year, I was asked to move over to our service side of our branch to learn the service department where I learned how to trouble shoot systems and what is the problem at the time in an emergency.
-From there, I was requested by my branch manager to go into inspecting in which where I am now.
