• 04/15/25, Double Oak Veterinary Medical Center, 8351 Justin Rd, Double Oak, Texas, 75077, Kennel Technician, I am interested in the Kennel Technician position currently posted. My goal is to find a position that would allow me to gain experience and knowledge in the veterinary field. Next school year I will be taking Veterinary Medical Applications and Practicum in Veterinary Medicine at Lewisville ISD's Technology, Exploration, and Career Center West (TECC-W). In this course, I will be working to gain supervised hours with specific hands-on criteria and take the Certified Veterinarian Assistant certification. I have a strong passion for animal care and behavior, as well as hands-on experience. I believe this a great opportunity to contribute to a team that values the well-being of animals. Experience and skills include: TECC-W courses- Small Animal Science, Advanced Animal Science, Wildlife Class Certifications and Awards: Ducks Unlimited through iCEV Greenhand and Chapter FFA Degrees
• Fundamentals of Animal Science certification exam scheduled for April 30th. Experience includes feeding, cleaning, and maintaining animal enclosures, handling, and assisting in the care of small animals through classroom and lab activities. Experience also includes working with a personal Holland Lop rabbit, as well as handling and caring for bees, including observation and maintenance of their environment. Comfortable working in team environments and following care procedures. I am looking forward to the opportunity to join the team at Double Oak Veterinary Medical Center.
